Some wedding days are full of beauty, emotion, and a touch of whimsy and Kristiana and William’s wedding was all of that and more.

Their story began at church, where they first met and eventually fell in love. From the start, I could tell these two shared something special a deep connection, a love for laughter, and an easygoing charm that made photographing them such a joy.


On a sunny Calgary morning, I arrived to begin documenting Kristiana’s bridal preparation. The excitement in the air was subtle but steady, and the light streaming into the room was soft and perfect as a photographer’s dream. Their ceremony took place at Sacred Heart Church, one of my personal favorite wedding venues in Calgary. With its stunning architecture, peaceful light, and timeless atmosphere, it’s a truly special place to capture wedding moments.


After the ceremony, we headed to Inglewood, one of Calgary’s most character-rich neighborhoods, for portraits. Kristiana and William, along with their wedding party, strolled through the streets, laughing and soaking in the moment. A fun and unexpected stop? A cozy hamburger joint the couple loved, a spot they’d visited often together, had now turned into a sweet wedding memory with their closest friends.

Their reception was held at Rogue Restaurant in Inglewood, a well-loved Calgary wedding reception venue known for its warm, industrial charm and incredible food. It’s the perfect mix of modern and intimate — ideal for couples who want a relaxed yet elegant setting. Inside, the space was beautifully styled, and the evening unfolded with heartfelt speeches, happy tears, and joyful dancing late into the night.


As a Calgary wedding photographer who also photographs weddings in Canmore, Banff, and beyond, days like this are a reminder of why I love what I do. Kristiana and William brought so much light, laughter, and genuine connection to their wedding. It was an honor to be there to capture it all.
